![]() ![]() I travel to KCMO a lot and I often stay near the airport. 10 minutes later, other patrons who were there long after I was were getting room. "We are working on it." was the answer she got. After 1 hour passed, my wife went to the desk and asked again. I was told "I don't know how long you might have to wait, we have no rooms ready." So we went back and waited with the 10 others who were in the same boat. 30 minutes passed and I went back to the front desk and asked what the delay was. ![]() So we were told to sit and wait for 5-10 minutes. Checkin time was posted as 3PM and we had a reservation 3+ weeks in advance of our stay. I usually stay across the street at the Hyatt Place, but since Hyatt has a substandard breakfast and a lack of amenities, the Embassy looked like a better choice. This time, since I had my wife with me, we decided to stay at the Embassy Suites, mainly because it was a large hotel with free breakfast, a nice exercise room, a pool, a bar and a bus to the nearby Zona Rosa shopping district. ![]() ![]()
